After he meets Buddha, he finally gets tired of being broke-ass and homeless, and he goes into town where he makes a pile of money.

Throughout the various stages of ggautama journey, Siddhartha finds something of value in everyone he interacts with and each stage brings him closer to his ultimate goal.
